Benefits Of Starch Based Abrasives

EnviroStrip® XL corn hybrid polymer and eStrip® GPX Type VII preserve the unique mechanical properties of aircraft and incorporate the same features and benefits as traditional EnviroStrip® (wheat starch), yet with many unique attributes that make it more equipment and operator friendly. Corn Hybrid Polymers (CHP) such as EnviroStrip® XL and eStrip® GPX Type VII are also more tolerant to moisture than the wheat based EnviroStrip®.  CHP’s can be used in light abrasive blasting systems where plastic abrasives have been traditionally used. EnviroStrip®XL and eStrip® GPX Type VII are flow-able, moisture resistant, and an ideal drop-in replacement for plastic media blast (PMB) material.
